Wasps - Lestica - male - female

Wasps - Lestica - Male Female
Spring Green Preserve SNA, Sauk County, Wisconsin, USA
July 19, 2015
Found this struggle going on on upper surface of leaf of low foliage on top of steep bluff prairie. The wasps were struggling to get away I believe. Stink bug seemed to have the female by the front of the face.

Crabronids?

what a drama... yes, Crabronini something; Lestica?
the adolescent punk sure got a nerve

I couldn't tell who was trying to drag whom off. Assumed the stink bug had the upper hand. Wonder if there are any Pentatomidae prey records for crabronids.

I'm a little late but
Bicyrtes, and some members of Astatinae hunt Stink Bugs. So actually the victims here are the wasps. I wonder who won, I sure wouldn't want to disturb wasps when they're busy!

Predator…
Stink bug is a Podisus placidus nymph.
