Beautiful turquoise colored spider. It was on the wall (outside) catching gnats. Please help with ID.

Beautiful green orb weaver
in the genus Araneus. From the size of the creature and the inflated palps that we think we see in the third image, we would say male.

....same color and markings and from Oklahoma but sounds like there was some confusion back then.

Maybe.
I was going to venture that it might be a male of the giant lichen orb weaver, Araneus bicentarius. I hope Jeff Hollenbeck weighs in....
