Hello Linda,

This one of the difficult Catocalas and I am not very good with them. I think it is . They are variable. The hind wing view helps a lot because this species is very similar to Catocala lineella.

 
Looking at hind-wing patterns
Looking at hind-wing patterns in photos of both species, the one I had looks to me to be micronympha. Wish my images were sharper. Thanks for your help.
