Trox - male

Trox - Male
West Farm, Turtle Lake, Barron County, Wisconsin, USA
July 12, 2015
Size: 7 mm
Found along north trail underneath a small pile of (rather hairy) scat.

Something near tuberculatus or robinsoni. Head is bituberculate, which would be unusual for either.

Moved
Moved from Hide Beetles.

Bill Warner says:
"Doesn't quite look like either, and the pecker is a bit wrong too."

More individuals would be needed to tell whether this is just an abnormal individual or something new.
