A True Bug - Castolus ferox
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA

Size: 8mm
This good-looking little bug was visiting in our backyard (elevation 6000 ft). He looks young, but I can't ID him. Any help would be appreciated.

Moved tentatively, great call as aways
makes a lot of sense -- thanx all!

Moved from Unidentified assassin bug eggs and nymphs.

How about this?
I can't find nymph image anywhere, but banded legs and overall looks similar???

suspect Rhynocoris ventralis, but it's not an ID
they adults very extremely in pattern, and i can't imagine any other reduviid with those bold thick bands all over the legs (there is another genus with banded legs, but the ring pattern is quite different)

Moved from ID Request.

True Bug
Thank you; I understand immature bugs are difficult to ID and I appreciate your help.
