This is clearly a pyract, with the strong apical pronotal angle and with the anterior pronotal half obfuscate.

Do you have a date for this specimen? Its value is smaller without that info.

Pyractomena ?
Look like a Pyractomena sp. to me. Possibly P. borealis, but since I don't know the species of New York, I can be wrong.

 
Right genus.
Pretty sure it is Pyractomena, but no idea as to species. Does not appear to be P. angulata, the common one.
