Unknown Moth - Photedes enervata

Unknown Moth - Photedes enervata
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA
July 25, 2015
Size: Length ~ 1.5 cm
Hmmm...my first guess was a worn Sympistis, but now I'm not so sure. My second guess was Photedes, but not so sure about that either. I'm drawing a blank. Need sleep. :-)

To me this looks like a Phote
To me this looks like a Photedes defecta but I am not an expert. It matches other images in the guide for the species and the description at Strickland also matches your moth. Hopefully someone can give you a firm yes or no on that. Good luck.
