Orange, white and black butterfly - Asterocampa celtis
Sanford, FL, USA, Seminole County, Florida, USA
July 25, 2015
Hello, I'm hoping you can help me identify a butterfly I saw while hiking today. I saw this predominately orange butterfly in the Black Bear Wilderness Area in Seminole County Florida. The undersides of the wings were silvery white with black patterns.
Thank you for any assistance you can offer.
