Tiger moth caterpillar? - Acronicta americana

Tiger moth caterpillar? - Acronicta americana
Brossard, Quebec, Canada
July 26, 2015
A white caterpillar with black hairs. I think it is some kind of tiger moth, is it possible to say what it is? Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.

Saw same type crossing a road
and looked it up on here. What you have may be an american dagger moth. Anyone out there, can you confirm that? Thanks.
