Identification
pale lateral humeral mark short, straight and not curved (J. Hanson, pers. comm. to MAQ, 2019)

Habitat
May prefer areas with sandy soil
Season
Apr-Jun in TX (BG data)
Food
Larvae bore in wood of Escarpment Live Oak (Quercus fusiformis) and probably other oak species. Also Persimmon (Diospyros texana) (1)
Adults are nectarivorous, recorded on blooms of Prickly Pear (Opuntia sp.), Poppy-Mallow (Callirhoe sp.), Thistles and more.
