Thanks for your time and expertise. I have been lucky enough to have seen and photographed phidippus' mystaceus, johnsoni, audax, and now putnami, plus maevia inclemens, tiny salticidae, and lynx spiders all on and around our .3 acre tract home in Argyle, Texas. Quite an assortment I think. Charles Baxter.

That's an impressive list of spiders; one of the things I've come to like about insect/spider ID is that you don't have to go far and don't need to be in the "wide open spaces" - sometimes a couple of bushes can keep you busy for quite a while.
