Diplopoda - Choctella cumminsi

Diplopoda - Choctella cumminsi
Sewanee, Franklin County, Tennessee, USA

Moved
Moved from Choctella.

Reviewing this again, the color pattern matches for C. cumminsi. The species ranges south through Huntsville, AL, so geography matches too.

Moved
Moved from Millipedes.

The exoskeleton doesn't seem
The exoskeleton doesn't seem to be in the best condition, perhaps getting ready to molt. This is quite a bit out of the range of Choctella, and the collum doesn't seem large enough proportionally. Perhaps just common Narceus.

Looks like one of the species
Looks like one of the species of Choctella, I believe this would be C. cumminsi based on the location. Dr. Shelley would know.
