Selenophorus opalinus?
This reminds me of Selenophorus opalinus which I had ran into quite a bit while working in Alabama (though much further north than Mobile).
The iridescencent elytra is a good clue, though seeing micropunctures on the 5th stria is really helpful in determining that genus.
