Hudsonian Whiteface - Leucorrhinia hudsonica - female

Hudsonian Whiteface - Leucorrhinia hudsonica - Female

Whiteface, probably Hudsonian
It's one of the Whitefaces, and it's female. Judging partly from the shape of the appendages and mostly by the size, shape, and number of yellow spots on the abdomen, I'd say it's Hudsonian (Leucorrhinia hudsonica).

The other possibilities would be Belted (L. proxima), Crimson-ringed (L. glacialis), and Frosted (L. frigida).
