Light-ribboned Wave - Leptostales ferruminaria

Light-ribboned Wave - Leptostales ferruminaria
Miami County, Kansas, USA
July 18, 2015
Blacklighting at Idalia Society Gathering. This looks like Leptostales, but I'm confused, what is the difference or distinction between L. ferruminaria and L. rubromarginaria? I'm not finding any info about this, yet similar moths seems to be placed in one or the other (???)

Thanks for any help!

I will go with L. ferruminaria
IF there are actually two species, with L. rubromarginaria considered a west coast species. If there aren't two distinct species, then I believe they should all be named L. rubromarginaria since it was the original species description.
