Xylorycetes jamaicensis -
Xyloryctes jamaicensis
Mission, Todd County, South Dakota, USA
July 25, 2015
Size: 26mm
I think it's a rhinoceros beetle but I was unaware of their existence in south Dakota. Xylorycetes jamaicensis maybe?

Edit: upon some light research it appears that there is documented white ash a couple hours north of where I collected. So it is reasonable for it to be in the area.
