Archips purpurana? - Archips purpurana

I am pretty sure this is Archips purpurana - in particular it has the AM line with the sharp bend forming a W (see . Confirmation or correction would be much appreciated.

Moved from Archipini.

Moved from Tortricinae.

Moved from Tortricid Moths.

Moved from Moths.

Moved from ID Request.

I'm not great with the Archipini and the angle is unfortunate. I would need to brush up on these moths to give you a more informed opinion but I will say that I'm not convinced that the "waist" is pronounced enough. Your ID may very well be right though. At any rate, I'm just about to post an unambiguous A. purpurana from earlier tonight so at least one of us has it.

The sharp bend in the AM line is totally unambiguous and there are plenty of images that are no more waisted I am sufficiently confident to place it in purpurana unless you have an alternative candidate species.

All true
I think it's the right ID. The Archipini moths are hard but certainly doable.
