Bumble Bee - Bombus bimaculatus - female

Bumble Bee - Bombus bimaculatus - Female
Fort Bragg, Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
May 4, 2004
I just don't get it when it comes to bees. They look all alike to me. I don't have a clue how to tell the difference between a Bumble Bee and a Mining Bee, Bulb Fly, Hover Fly whatever. They all look yellow and black and hairy!

Thanks again John
