Polyonyx gibbesi

Polyonyx gibbesi
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
August 1, 2015
Taken with plankton net at the beach. Porcellanid zoea are easily recognizable. Polyonyx gibbesi is one of only two local species. I thought it was the only species when I found this specimen so I didn't take pictures of various features for ID verification later. However, I remain confident of my ID of the two adults I found in the same plankton tow as this individual (one of three zoea found), so I think this ID is by far the more likely.
