I did a double take when I noticed that this "Arizona Sister" was taking nectar, which I don't think I've ever seen a real Arizona Sister do. This species is not in Jim Brock's Checklist of Butterflies and Skippers of Southeastern Arizona (1995?), Butterflies of Southeastern Arizona by Bailowitz and Brock (1991), or Butterflies of Arizona: A Photographic Guide by Stewart, Brodkin, and Brodkin (2001), but I note that another contributor has posted a photo of a male from Sasabe, AZ.

Fantastic photo!!!

Thanks!
She wasn't very cooperative, and I couldn't seem to get the settings right for my non-macro lens, but focus stacking allowed me to get slightly better detail on the left wing tip.
