Ant - female

Ant - Female
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
May 21, 2007
Size: ~ 3 mm
On flower (will re-check plant later). I'm not good with ants, so an ID would be much appreciated.

Moved from DELETE PAGE, obsolete page for Formicoxenini (=Crematogastrini).

Moved from Myrmicinae.

Thanks for the help, Richard.
I'll see if I can find another individual sometime, and make sure that I get good antennal shots. Moved from Ants.

Leptothoracini (Myrmicinae) - worker
Most likely Leptothorax sp., based on general habitus. But, as some Temnothorax are quite similar and magnification doesn't allow to count antnennal segments, keeping at the tribal level is safer.
