Elateridae: Unknown Species - Hemicrepidius
Turtle River State Park, Grand Forks County, North Dakota, USA

Size: Length ~ 1.7 cm
Although nondescript or featureless (to me), this specimen seems to be an unusually large click beetle for our area.

genus is correct
could just be memnonius; SD is in that gray area between the PNW fauna and the NE species.
