Seems obvious but I have been wrong before. Very interesting when seen up close.

Dan, if you look at John Carr's guide for flies in the genus Lucilia, (linked below) it looks like she could be an adult female Lucilia sericata, or something very close to that:

You would be right
about it being a green bottle fly.
