Lory State Park, Larimer County, Colorado, USA
August 9, 2015
Observed, and quite common, on Grindelia squarrosa, curlycup gumweed (Asteraceae) in Lory State Park, Bellvue, Colorado. Almost every instance of this plant in bloom had at least one of these beetles on it.
