Was found in a stable. According to the current information, this European species can only be found in stables, at least in the Province of Québec.

On the info page for this spe
On the info page for this species range it states "adventive in NA: ne. US (NY-OH-VA)(3) & QC ("in Canada [...] it is only known from the province of Québec as far as I know."
I have collected this species (or one very similar) from Windsor, Ontario in the stables of a horse racing track. The stables used to be heated all year and the beetles were quite common until the winter heating was ceased. The track had since been shuttered, however I still have a few specimens.
