Moved from Beach Hoppers.

Moved
Moved from Platorchestia platensis. Sorry about the switch. This actually looks more like Orchestia palustris. See . Unfortunately, I can't find any newer records of this species or any recent revision of the local talitrids. We'll need an expert on the family to figure out this mess.

Hmm
In a slightly newer (by 80 years) source(1), this keys out to Orchestia grillus, which is listed in WoRMS. Interestingly, the species was described in 1802, well before the Arthrostraca of Connecticut was published.

Moved from Beach Hoppers.

Moved
Moved from Peracarida (Amphipods and Isopods). I think Platorchestia platensis.
