Orange bugs on thistle - Leptoglossus phyllopus

Orange bugs on thistle - Leptoglossus phyllopus
Lake Corpus Christi, San Patricio County, Texas, USA
May 1, 2007
These are on a Texas Thistle. Return trips to this plant have found a variety of bugs including stink bugs and leaf-footed bugs, and a dwindling number of these orange ones. Are they growing up to be leaf-footed bugs?

Quite a fun photo!
Looks like they're dancing.

Possibly...

That's the same
as the first picture I added, but they've also been seen with other species, like the second.

It's not another species
just different stages of the same Leptoglossus sp. Only Leptoglossus phyllopus has the straight white stripe, so it has to be that one.

Or perhaps you're referring to the little stink bug in the third picture?
