Sap-feeding Beetle - Cyllodes biplagiatus

Sap-feeding Beetle - Cyllodes biplagiatus
Guelph, Wellington, Ontario, Canada
May 22, 2007
Size: ~ 4 mm
I'm certain that I've seen this one in the Guide before ... however, I seem to have difficulty finding the species in the pages. I think it's a Fungus Beetle of some sort.

Good I´ ve been to Indonesia
. . . where I met them several times on the same kind of fungi (Pleurotus sp.?).
Fungus pictures were not really necessary, but strenghtened opinion in this case - and to post biological observations is fine anyway!
This is a mainly oriental genus, with one species in Europe and N-America each, so genus ID = species ID.

Thanks for the ID!
Hmmm, turns out that this wasn't in the guide after all. Maybe I had deja vu ;-) And a mainly oriental genus - a special one for me.

Nice find indeed, Stephen
!

Hmmm
Well, it's not a dia*perine teneb. Antennae not right shape. I'm very curious as to what it is.
