Ant - Dorymyrmex smithi

Ant - Dorymyrmex smithi
Pinehurst, Moore County, North Carolina, USA
August 18, 2015
Size: 1/16"
These guys are very aggressive. Ant nest is under the pavers in front of our home. They seem unaffected by poison. I used Terro which I put inside of a wire cage adjacent to the nest entrance and they buried it with sand.
