there is a series of 5, all from the same collection event
the species is very distinctive, much to my surprise (despite being rather drab and nondescript at first glance) -- meaning, it fails to fit anything quite unequivocally )))
at this point i have a pretty good idea what the nearctic spp. look like

dunno... there are many Ligyrocoris not yet in the guide
a ventrolateral shot may help narrow it down the hard way, but Tom Henry will probably recognize it as is
