caterpillar is Orange-striped Oakworm

We found them!
My 13 year old daughter and I have just found a bunch of them in the trees of our yard in Norfolk, VA. How cool looking are they!

"stink bugs"
I always thought stink bugs were brown. When I was young, a neighbor showed me a brown bug and told me they were "stink bugs"... I grew up thinking those were, but now I know. :) They are very bright. In my picture, one of them is solid red. When I looked at the group, there were probably 3-4 of them that were solid red. I wonder what the difference is.

We just moved into a new house in Ga. It's 10 miles further away from Atlanta, and I'm finding this place full of all sorts of interesting spiders.
