Size: about 1 cm
The robber fly kept returning to the same downed log. Very active. Obviously one of the ones that mimics bumble bees.

Looks
alot like L. columbica but I have not studied many Laphria this far west. Only six species in the typical group in that state however. See my Oregon robber list.
