Parasitized blackmargined pecan aphid? - Monellia caryella

Parasitized blackmargined pecan aphid? - Monellia caryella
Fabens, El Paso County, Texas, USA
August 20, 2015
Many people confuse these parasitized blackmargined aphids with the black pecan aphid because normally the adult blackmargined aphids have a yellow body; which turns black when parasitized. I have seen publications online with this mistake!
