Diasemiodes nigralis? - Diasemiodes nigralis

Diasemiodes nigralis? - Diasemiodes nigralis
Reston, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
August 20, 2015
Size: body length 8-10mm
observed 11 pm attracted to porch light. This appears to be a good match for Diasemiodes nigralis, but as I have never seen one before, and there are not previous observations on BG for Virginia, a more experienced review would be helpful.

I am not an expert, either
but, this seems likely to be that species by its description and Virginia is within its range by records reported on MPG, Maryland Biodiversity Project, and BOLD. Unfortunately, Covell's guide does not mention that genus - but there are many genus I've discovered in Virginia not covered in that guide. Nice find!

thank you!
Nifty. Should I move this to species level, or someplace else for further review?
