Handsome Weevil - Gerstaeckeria

Handsome Weevil - Gerstaeckeria
Albuquerque, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, USA
August 20, 2015
Size: 4 mm
He's a handsome weevil (If you don't mind a big nose), but I can't find anybody with similar coloration. He was on our front porch yesterday, just hanging around. Don't know who he is or what he eats. Any ID help would be appreciated.

nice indeed
Moved from ID Request.

I believe this weevil is a Gerstaeckeria knullorum based on information I could gather from the web (a masters thesis and one other document) and then comparing the knullorum to one on your BugGuide. Of course I am not fluent in Buggology, but they look alike to me.
