I suspect
Tetanolita floridana - Florida Tetanolita - Hodges#8368 - this photo is dark, but the attributes of the wing patterns match and is well within the range for the species

Seems to be several of these in the area at night and very dark coloration.

there is another darker member of the Tetanolita genus - Tetanolita mynesalis - Smoky Tetanolita - Hodges#8366 - the large yellow reniform spot contrasts with the dark forewing

also within its range in Arkansas ... what do you think?


 
Looks like a match
Thanks for the ID sleuthing. These are so dark that they are difficult to get a defined image with a full flash at night. Most of BG images are equally dark and ill defined.
