2363 -- Dame's Violet Moth -- Plutella porrectella
B.P.

Is that the same as Dame's Ro
Is that the same as Dame's Rocket Moth-Plutella porrectella?

Plutella porrectella always equals Plutella porrectella
Common names may vary. I don't know why they do in this case.

attempted explanation
The larval foodplant (Hesperis matronalis) is called Dame's Violet in its native Europe, but Dame's Rocket in North America, where it is introduced.

When creating the Guide page, I thought it would be appropriate to call the North American populations of the moth by the North American common name of the foodplant. Also, "violet" is a misnomer in this case, as the plant is not related to violets (Viola spp.); it's in the mustard family (Brassicaceae), a number of whose members have "rocket" in their common names.
