Shaun, if I understand this,
Shaun, if I understand this, there are too many things that I see to be entering them into a database. Would be like work. I go birding a lot (no EBird), herping, shelling, and I look at pretty much everything. Not to mention all of the insects, especialyy butterflies and odes. I think BugGuide should be enough. Lots of botany. I do Nature's Notebook for a formal Forest Phenology study in the New York Botanical Garden.
