Ladybird Beetle - Coccinella septempunctata

Ladybird Beetle - Coccinella septempunctata
Chassell, Houghton County, Michigan, USA
August 22, 2015
I found this Ladybird Beetle on a Tansy flower. It displayed unusual behavior. Usually they will hide underneath the flower or walk down the stem
of the plant if I try to take a picture. Every time I got close to take its' picture it lunged at the camera. The habitat is on a sandy two-track
with Tansy, Queen Anne's Lace, Blackberry brambles. Trees in the woods are Maple. The location is in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan near
Lake Superior. Would anyone be able to identify this beetle for me and also if you've noted the same kind of behavior in this species? Thank you.
