Perhaps Thornbush Dasher

You have a lot of nice bug photos - any chance you are on flickr?

Thank you
I am on Flickr but my photos are more organized on my website.
My gallery: http://www.kapturedbykala.com/Galleries

My Flickr site: https://www.flickr.com/photos/100108154@N02/

I don't upload to either site until I get them identified normally so you are seeing photos here that I have not yet shared elsewhere. :)

Not familiar
This dragon species does not fly in our area so I'm not familiar with it but I have flickr contacts that are ode experts and could id this guy in an instant. Like you - if I can't figure out the species I usually get it id'd before posting on flickr. Here is my flickr "Collections" page

Very nice
I like your photos and selected to follow you because it looked like another good id resource. Although Texas and Nebraska might be very different with bug species. Still, love a good interesting bug.

Texas Dragons
Here is the most comprehensive collection of Texas ode photos on flickr - he'll have your bug.

thanks again
He looks great, added him too. But looked at his thornbush dasher and it does not have the dark tips at the ends of the wings so not sure that is what I have.
