Curious spider - Rhomphaea fictilium

Curious spider - Rhomphaea fictilium
Hillsborough, Orange County, North Carolina, USA
July 31, 2013
Size: 8mm (body only)
Spotted this a few years back, have been completely unable to identify it, have never seen one since. I am including a bad image of the eyes to assist in identification. I also found the location of the spinnerets curious.

Moved from ID Request.

Looks like he has trapped
and is wrapping another spider, but we can't make that one out. Do you have images where the second spider can be seen?

Best I can do
Two images can be found starting at http://bugguide.net/node/view/1128778. These are tight crops from a larger frame, and I was focused on the species preying upon this one (thus the weird crop on one of the images.) Best I can determine is some species of Theridiidae.

Thanks!
