Moth from Southeast Alaska - Hydriomena irata

Moth from Southeast Alaska - Hydriomena irata
Sitka County, Alaska, USA
May 26, 2007
Size: approx 1inch wide
This was resting on the bark of a Red Alder tree. It was not inclined to move (even after repeated camera flashes) until I put my finger right next to it, at which point it fluttered to another spot on the same tree.

I think it's a Geometer moth of some sort, but I really don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

Moved
Moved from Moths. If this move turns out to be wrong we may have to move it again.
A belated welcome to Bugguide. It is nice to get some images from Alaska. Try to fill in your contributor's page. It is always helpful to know who everybody is.

Looks Like 7228 - Hydriomena irata
