Giant caddisfly ?
Is a Caddisfly can be as big ? This specimen was about 4 cm long.

Thanks !

Phryganeidae
is that 4cm just the tip of wing to front of head?

Length
Hi,

Yes it is from the tip of the wing to the head. A safe guess would be 3,5 cm.

that is large
That is at the max I have heard of for any NA phryganeid. If ya get another try and keep it so we can find out what species it is.
