Amazing oviposition series!
In the first photo here, one can already see the female fly at center "telescoping" (i.e. extending outward & forward here) the usually retracted terminal abdominal segments comprising its ovipositor.

But the second photo is a real eye-opener!

Winthemia?
Based on appearance and host this might be Winthemia deilephilae. The species must be named after the genus Deilephila, where the the caterpillar species used to be.
