Large brown spider - Tigrosa aspersa - male

Large brown spider - Tigrosa aspersa - Male
Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
August 31, 2015
Size: .75" body, 2+" leg span
Caught this guy in the pre-1964 school I work at on Madison's West side. Saw a couple similar specimens while browsing the site, but none were described as being as big as this. Apologies for the image size. Please feel free to compress as needed.

Thanks!
Thanks! I am in awe of the identification skills I've witnessed in my several trips to BugGuide.

I have a pic of this specimen that I took after I released it. The image is much nicer because it is not distorted or discolored by anything, as these earlier photos are. If that would be of interest, I would be glad to submit it.

Thanks again,
Jack
