Leaf-footed Plant Bug - Leptoglossus corculus

Leaf-footed Plant Bug - Leptoglossus corculus
Cumberland County, North Carolina, USA
June 10, 2004

Moved
Moved from Leptoglossus. No emarginations on dorsal margin of long dilation of hind tibia!

Leptoglossus, note parasite
This is, I believe, Leptoglossus. It may be possible to get the species, there are four species listed in the NCSU Collection for North Carolina. Note the egg of a parasite, probably a Tachnid fly such as Trichopoda, on the head. A couple of other photos in the guide show this.
