I see an example in the genus Celina that looks similar.

 
correct - Celina angustata
correct: exposed scutellum + pointy butt = Celina. Downie and Arnett list 4 Celina for our area. Size (smallest of the 4) and elytra darker than head/pronotum say that this is is C. angustata.
