Size: 1 inch tip to tip of wing
Only found after dark, typically feeding on yellow lantana. Wings are somewhat transparent and have gold coloration on front edges.

I agree with Thomas, but the photograph is too out of focus for me to feel confident.

It looks like
Kimball's Palpita - Palpita kimballi Hodges#5219 here but its out of focus and hard to say for sure.

Thomas, thank you for the ID. After looking at the reference you provided and some of the other photos I had taken, I believe you are correct.
