Araneus corticarius? - Araneus corticarius - female

Araneus corticarius? - Araneus corticarius - Female
Akeley, Hubbard County, Minnesota, USA
September 4, 2015
Size: Approx. 6-7mm
I thought I knew the Orb Weavers around my property, but this is a new one. I found her in a small (approx. 7 inches in total, including short attachment lines) web along an old easement. The location is a short distance from a lakeside marsh.

I'm fairly sure it's going to be Araneus corticarius, but I'd like to confirm it. She's currently in a small terrarium awaiting release after her photo shoot.

Looks good
Cassie, I'm pretty sure this is correct and this represents a county record for Hubbard. Nice find!
