Pasimachus elongatus

Pasimachus elongatus
about 6 miles south of Chadron, King Canyon, Dawes County, Nebraska, USA
July 17, 2015

Superficially-similar Pasimachus elongatus vs californicus
(both in NE) are distinguished by the following traits, respectively: ABL < 26 mm vs > 28 mm; elytral humeral ridge relatively long vs shorter by one half; pronotal/eltral margins almost always bluish vs rarely blue. Enough here to agree with Matt's nice image and identification. Pasimachus depressus would fall into this complex but it does not occur in NE.
